The BIG 8 - 10K Run and 5K Run/Walk will take place through the town of Huntington and will begin and finish at Town Hall, which shall be embellished with 1000 3x5 American flags set to honor Veterans Day and all those who have served our nation.

This run will recognize and show honor to all past and present veterans and those serving in the military that have dedicated their lives to protecting our freedoms.

An awards ceremony will take place in Hecksher Park immediately following the run/walk. Medals will be given to all finishers and "Field of Honor" T-shirts will be distributed. There will be cash and raffle prizes for runners who are present.

All funds derived from this run and the "Field of Honor" flag program are used to benefit the children of Huntington Township and Huntington Veteran's Group.
